They will compete in different events of men’s and women’s long jump, 400m, 4x400m relay, women’s high jump and women’s 100m hurdle and 200m at the Taipei Stadium.

According to the organisers, the meeting, on May 25-26, is considered the most important event for many East Asian and South East Asian countries.

Many Asian elite athletes use this meeting to reach qualification standard for Olympic Games, World Championships and Asian Games.

As usual, Chinese Taipei Athletics has made special invitation for international elite athletes such as Luvo Manyonga of South Africa who won a long jump silver at the Rio Olympic Games, Gunta Latiseva-Cudare of Latvia who got a 200m gold at the Bydgoszcz European U23 Championships last year, American Queen Harrison, the winner of the 100m hurdler at the 2015 Toronto Pan American Games and South African Henricho Bruintjie, a two-time winner at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
